茶文化初传藏区的时间与空间之语言学考证

The Initial Time and Place of Tea Culture into Tibetan Area

藏区早就有茶文化,但由于当时的藏区尚不产茶,藏区最初的茶文化就只能从他处习得。一般以为,茶是唐代才传进西藏的。但是,这种说法证据不足。本文考证了早期汉文典籍中记录的茶的名称,通过比较古汉语和古藏语中茶的名称,从语言学的角度利用对音材料论证了茶文化最初是从滇川交界地带、大约在东汉至魏晋这一时期传进藏区的。

The history of tea culture in Tibetan area is quite early.However,no tea was produced in the early time.Therefore,the early tea culture in Tibetan area must be learned from other places.It is generally realized that tea was brought into Tibet in the Tang dynasty.But this view is not supported by sufficient evidence.This paper investigates various names of tea appeared in early Chinese documents.Through the linguistic comparison of eea names between Old Chinese and Old Tibetan,based on collation materials,it is argued that the tea culture entered Tibetan area from the contiguous area between Yunnan and Sichuan,at the period from Eastern Han to Wei-jin
