摘要 提出了一种可应用于白光LED驱动芯片的1x/1.25x/1.5x/2x四模式电荷泵电路,采用三相开关时钟信号,从而获得四种电压转换模式。使用CSMC0.5μm工艺流片,分别对基于典型三模式和上述四模式电荷泵设计的白光LED驱动芯片进行比较,结果表明,基于所设计四模式电荷泵的白光LED驱动芯片,在输入电压2.8~3.4V范围内,以1.25x转换模式取代典型的1.5x转换模式,可使驱动芯片效率提高13%。 Based on the classical circuit of 1x/1.5x/2x three-mode charge pump, a new 1x/1.25x/1.5x/2x four-mode charge pump circuit is proposed by adjusting the topology of switches and the number of switch control signals. Designed with the CSMC 0. 5μm model and the input voltage varying in 2.8-3.4 V, the average power efficiency of the white LED driver IC based on the new four-mode charge pump is 13% higher than that based on the classical three-mode charge pump. The new charge pump is suitable for IC embedded, saving layout area and significantly increasing power efficiency.
