On Expressionism Art and Aesthetics from Expressionism Development

表现主义是20世纪兴起于西方的重要艺术思潮,对当时及后来的艺术理论产生了深远的影响,但是我们单从表现主义艺术这一方面来理解表现主义是不够的。表现主义包含了两个层面的内容:其一是现代西方艺术的表现主义;其二则是西方现代美学的表现主义,它们二者之间相互关联并相互影响,但又不完全相同与对应。

The expressionism was the important artistic ideological trend emerged in the west in the 20th century, having had a profound influence upon then and following artistic theory. However, understanding expressionism just from expressionism art is not enough, which contains two aspects, modern western art and modern western aesthetics, interrelated and interacted.
