摘要
Brown&Levinson将白谎作为积极礼貌策略维护对方的积极面子。白谎与一般的恶意谎言都存在字面意思和说话人意思的冲突,但白谎有自己独特的语用价值和特点。分析了白谎策略的语用类别。
Brown Levinson regard the strategy of white lies as a polite way to defend others＇ positive faces.White lies are similar to black lies in that literal meanings are in conflict with speakers＇ meanings,but white lies possess their own particular pragmatic values and characters.The article is to analyze the possible pragmatic classifications.
