Being relative to pigments, universal water based colour paste had addition convenience, easy disperse, environmental protective and other advantages. By testing the fineness and storage stability of colour paste, and its compatibility with coatings, the influence of pigments, dispersants and anti-settling agents on the performance of colour paste was discussed during the preparation of the resin-free water based colour paste.
