Official document writing and narrative writing belong to different styles with characteristics of their own.This paper compares the linguistic characteristics of the two styles,discusses the differences and similarities.Combined with examples,this paper analyzes their differences from the three aspects of vividness and simplicity,rhetoric techniques and syntax standards.
