Pearl River Delta Regional utilization of foreign direct benefit analysis

作为中国经济发展的三大引擎之一——珠三角区域,外商直接投资对促进珠三角区域经济的快速发展,功不可没,已成为珠三角区域经济快速发展的重要力量。本文就珠三角区域在利用外商直接投资方面的特点和实际效果及如何进一步提高利用外商直接投资的质量等方面进行了分析,并进一步提出珠三角区域利用外商直接投资应转向引进知识密集型或技术密集型为主,使外商直接投资更好地为珠三角区域经济服务,为促进珠三角区域经济社会又好又快发展作出更大的贡献。

As one of the three engines of China＇s economic development,Pearl River Delta region,foreign direct investment makes great contributions to Pearl River Delta region＇s rapid economic development. The Pearl River Delta region has become an important support for the rapid economic development. How are the characteristics and actual effects in the use of foreign direct investment in the Pearl River Delta region？ This paper analyzes from two aspects：first,the Pearl River Delta region＇s characteristics of the use of foreign direct investment; second,the empirical analysis of the use of foreign direct investment in the Pearl River Delta region. Based on three major industries in the Pearl River Delta,the paper is mainly doing a quantitative analysis. At present,how to further improve the utilization of foreign direct investment both in the quality and in the efficiency in the Pearl River Delta region,the author puts forward three proposals：in pursuit of structural optimization of foreign direct investment source; efforts to achieve industrial structure optimization of foreign direct investment in the Pearl River Delta region; efforts to achieve foreign enterprise structure optimization. Utilization of foreign direct investment in the Pearl River Delta region should be shifted to the introduction of knowledge-intensive or technology-intensive industries,so that foreign direct investment can better serve to the Pearl River Delta regional economy,in order to promote the Pearl River Delta regional economy and social development towards a better and faster way.
