高校图书馆馆员是图书馆活动的组织者与服务者,本文提出了在知识更新与信息技术的新形势下,高校图书馆馆员继续教育的必要性。从职业道德、语言知识、身心素质、在职教育、学术交流等方面论述了继续教育的途径,以适应新时期图书馆事业的发展。

University librarian is the organizers and service-providers of library activities,and the paper brings forward the necessity of continuing education for university librarians in the new situation of knowledge update and information technology. In order to adapt to the development of the library in the new period,it discusses continuing education from the following aspects：the professional ethics,language knowledge,physical and mental quality,in-service education,academic exchanges,etc.
