迈进九十年代,我们继续面临人口过速增长的严峻形势和社会对可靠、安全的生育调节技术的迫切需要。七十年代中至八十年代是全世界重视节育科学研究、值得总结的十年。本文讨论了节育科学研究高效益、高科技高投资的三个特点和计划生育对发展中国家、社会与人口保健的巨大影响。本文还报告了国际计划生育技术界在科研管理和指导方针、重点研究领域及发展方向等问题上的观点,供同行们了解国际大环境和考虑八·五科研课题时作参考。
The special benefit and importance of family planning research programme for develo-ping countries which have been confronted with a serious situation of overincreased popula-tion and urgent need of reliable and safe fertility regulating methods were studied. The decade's achievements. new missions and policies of the world scientists and re-levant agencies. particularly those of the collaberating programmes between Chinese insti-tutions and HRP and UNFPA were elucidated.
