Memory of Earth:Thinking on the Planning for Earthquake Memorial Site and the Design for Epicenter Memorial Hall in Yingxiu,Wenchuan

通过映秀灾后重建的地震纪念项目实践,尝试回应如何在地震纪念性场所中,在保存集体记忆与关爱个人情感之间达到某种张力,在宏大叙事与细致描摹之间寻找某种平衡,在传达积极的群体价值观的同时,贴近每一个人的心灵。

Concerning the issue of how to handle collective memory and individual emotions in memorial architecture during the Yingxiu post-disaster reconstruction,this paper attempts to find out how to achieve some kind of tension between keeping collective memory and caring personal emotions,how to obtain some kind of balance between grand narrative and detailed tracing,as well as how to press close to everyone＇s heart while conveying positive group＇s values in earthquake memorial places.
