The Mass Theory and the Popularity of Theory

马克思主义理论本质上来源于大众生活实践,是为人民大众提供正确认识和改造世界的理论,因而是大众的理论;马克思主义哲学只有掌握了大众,完成由理论向大众社会实践的复归,才能成为指导大众社会实践的思想武器,实现理论大众化。在中国特色社会主义发展出现一系列阶段性特征,面临着新形势、新矛盾、新问题时,坚持马克思主义理论的指导地位,必须解决好马克思主义理论的大众化问题。马克思主义理论大众化不仅直接关系到马克思主义指导思想地位的巩固,关系到改革开放的深入发展,而且关系中国特色社会主义的命运。探索马克思主义大众化的规律,是实现马克思主义大众化的必然要求。

Marxist theory,essentially coming from public life practice,provides the broad masses of the people with correct approaches to the understanding and transformation of the world so that it is the mass theory.Marxist philosophy cannot become the ideology guiding the mass in social practice or become popularized until it has been totally accepted by the mass and has achieved the reversion to the social practice of the mass.At a time when the development of the socialism with Chinese characteristics takes on salient features associated with specific stages in terms of the new situation,new contradictions and new problems, the adherence to the guiding role of Marxist theory must be preceded by the proper settlement of the popularity of Marxist theory.The popularity of Marxism is immediately related to the consolidation of the guiding role of Marxist theory, to the further development of reform and opening-up practices,and to the future of the socialism with Chinese characteristics.The exploration of the laws in the popularity of Marxism is the inevitable requirement in the realization of the popularity of Marxism.
