越南使臣裴文与中国伴送官杨恩寿的文学交游,为我们提供了中越文化交流的一个全面而详实的个案。通过对这一个案的研究,我们可以了解越南使臣出使中国及与中国文人交流的具体情况和特征。更重要的是:中越文化交流的历史,正是有赖于类似裴、杨文学交游这样的一个个的具体事例支撑而成,我们可以由这一组个案透视出中越文化交流,乃至在宗藩关系下的中外文化交流的实际面貌。

The literary dialogue between the Chinese accompaniment official Yang En-shou and the Vietnamese envoy Pei Wen-si has provided a comprehensive and detailed case of the cultural communication between China and Vietnam,by which a better understanding can be obtained on the diplomatic mission of the Vietnamese envoy to China and on his literary communication with the Chinese writers.More importantly,the Sino-Vietnam cultural exchange history was established thanks to the exchange activities as in the case of Pei and Yang in literary interactions.Moreover,the Pei and Yang case sheds much light to the Sino-Vietnam cultural exchanges and to the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
