民国时期,自然灾害频繁给社会造成极大破坏。社会各界积极投入救灾取得了一定成效。救灾工作不仅在主观上有力的推动了经济的复兴,还在客观上促进了湖南交通事业的发展。

The natural disaster occurred very frequently of the period if the Republic of China in Hunan. The disaster destroyed the society greatly. All walks of life devoted into the relief project and made certain achievement. The relief project not only pushed forward the economy revival subjectively but also advanced the transportation of Hunan objectively.
