1920年华北发生了一场特大旱灾,河南省是此次旱灾灾区之一。这场旱灾在河南受灾范围广大、灾情复杂并造成极其恶劣的影响。这场旱灾的发生是由特定的自然条件、恶化的生态环境、畸形的经济结构和动荡的国内政局等因素共同促成的。灾荒发生后,上至中央政府,下至社会各界及国际力量都对灾区采取了赈灾活动。

In the 1920th there happened an extraordinary drought in North China,Henan province was one of the places of the drought area.The badly stricken area in Henan province was quite large and the disaster condition was complex and caused very bad effect.This drought was co-caused by the special natural conditions;worsen ecological environment;abnormal economical structure and the disturbed political situation of the country.After the disaster happened,the central government,various social fields and the international organizations all adopted corresponding relieving actions.
