陈云同志一直很重视满足人民的消费需要,并将其作为重要的国策。他认为,要提高居民消费,必须加强经济建设,必须发展农业、工商业,发展科技和文化教育,要加强国民经济综合平衡;他还强调消费生活要节俭,反对铺张浪费。陈云同志这些消费思想,具有重要的理论意义和实践意义。

Chen Yun always attaches great importance to consumer needs which is regarded by him as a basic policy of the state.He holds that in order to improve consumer needs,we need to strengthen economic construction,develop agriculture,business,science and technology,and cultural education,and balance national economy.He also highlights the importance of practicing thrifty,which is of great theoretical as well as practical meanings.
