Known as a famous historical and cultural city in China,Nanyang boasts abundant ancient architectures,which is a considerable treasure house to a city.Unfortunately,due to the need for faster development of the city,there are always destructive constructions going on which take economic construction into consideration to the neglect of the preservation of ancient architectures.Therefore,it is time we sorted out the development history of the city to better regulate the overall planning and architectural style of the city.Only in this way can we effectively protect ancient cultural heritages on the one hand and make good use of traditional architectural features to project unique regional and architectural appeal of Nanyang City on the other.A good combination of history and modernity can promote the sound preservation and development of ancient architectures in Nanyang and thus add splendor to the city,one with ancient culture and modern charm.
