The detailed analysis of basic components and panicle size distribution of salt mud were carried out. A thought, method and industrial application that salt mud can replace limestone in power plant desulphurization were obtained through theoretical and experimental analysis, and pilot test results, which can not only solve the waste reutilization of salt making enterprises, but also reduce the waste discharge to improve resources utilization efficiency.
