According to the research on the nanofiltration membrane method for removing CODMn, organic compounds, disinfection by-prod- uct, algae, microorganism, inorganic salt and heavy metal, the paper sums up the characteristics and advantages of the nanofiltration membrane method, concludes some problems for the application of the method, and points out the nanofiltration membrane method is a prospective water treatment technique.
