"古(古代汉语)—方(汉语方言)—外(外语)"是现代汉语教学比较法中最重要的三个比较维度,在现代汉语教学中辅以"古—方—外"三个维度的比较法,是完成基础知识和基础理论教学任务和目标的重要保证。三维比较教学法是一种系统的动态性的开放型教学方法,它打破了不同课程的界限,沟通了其它语言学科,将不同的语言知识串联、汇聚、整合在现代汉语课程的教学中,形成了以现代汉语为中心的语言教学系统观。
