This paper introduces the peculiarity of 1 310nm and 1 550nm fiber- optic transmission system and gives optional principle of two fiber - optic transmission techniques. It also illustrates how to use fiber receiver and EDFA correctly with the purpose to improve the signal transmission quality of the system.
