严家显先生高等农业教育思想的探析

福建省立农学院首任院长严家显先生提出了创办高等农业教育的理念,对福建省立农学院的三大任务进行了准确的定位,制定了学院的创建、管理、发展规划,高度重视师资队伍建设、科学研究和农业技术的推广应用,加强学生的爱国主义和艰苦奋斗精神教育,培养高等农业建设人才。严家显的教育思想和办学实践为福建农业高等教育的发展奠定了良好基础。

Yan Jia-xian,the first president of Fujian Provincial Agricultural College,put forward the theory of undertaking higher agricultural education,accurately defined the three major tasks of Fujian Provincial Agricultural College,worked out the plan of building,management and development of the college,pay much attention to the construction of a teaching staff,scientific research and the popularization and application of agricultural technology,strengthen students′ education of patriotism and hard-working to bring up the senior talents for agricultural construction.Yan Jia-xian′s educational theory and practice has laid a solid foundation for the development of higher agricultural education in Fujian.
