摘要
语法翻译法的教学模式在我国已有140多年的历史,这足以证明语法在英语学习中的重要性。然而随着交际法的流行,语法教学似乎显得不合时宜并有被忽略的危险。特别是在大学英语的语法教学问题上,有人根本否定语法教学的重要性和必要性。文章从历史、理论和实际的角度阐明了语法在我国大学英语教学中的作用和地位,提出了在交际法教学框架内实施语法教学的一些方法和思考。
The history of Grammar-Translation teaching method is over 140 years in our country,and thus shows the importance of grammar in learning English.But since the introduction of communicative approach,grammar teaching has been regarded as inappropriate and faced with the risk of being neglected.Especially when it comes to grammar teaching in colleges and universities,some people deliberately deny its importance and necessity.This paper explains the importance of grammar and its status in college English teaching from the historical,theoretical and practical perspectives,and comes up with some thoughts and methods about grammar teaching under the framework of communicative approach.
