A Study on Test Measures of Implicit Grammar Knowledge

摘要语法知识二分法,即隐性知识与显性知识,使得探求用于测试隐性知识的方式与手段变得十分必要。Ellis认为人的语言能力由隐性知识而不是显性知识构成。为了测试隐性语法知识,人们尝试了不同的方式。研究中使用的一些常用方式有:口试、限时合乎语法性判断与口头诱导模仿法。尽管各有优缺点,三者之中,口头诱导模仿法被研究证实是一种有效测试隐性语法知识的方法。 The distinction between explicit knowledge and implicit knowledge renders it essential to measure the implicit knowledge.According to Ellis（2005）,it is implicit rather than explicit language knowledge that linguistic competence is comprised of.To measure implicit grammar knowledge,different measures have been suggested.Some commonly adopted methods used in the studies are oral test,timed grammaticality judgment test and oral elicited imitation test.Among them,though each having its respective merits and demerits,the oral elicited imitation test has been proved in empirical studies to be an effective choice.
