谈高年级英语专业教学中的《圣经》文化导入

Bible Culture Teaching for Junior and Senior English Majors

《圣经》作为西方文化的重要基石,对于欧美各国的政治、经济、文化、艺术以及社会生活的各个方面有着深远的影响。目前我国对外交流的现状要求英语专业人才不仅具有扎实的专业素质,更要具备深厚的人文素养。当前我国英语专业教学中对圣经文化的导入存在着缺乏深度和高低年级不平衡的弊端。笔者探讨了圣经文化导入在高年级阶段的定位问题,并提出把《圣经》纳入高年级阶段教学课程的建议。

Bible,being one of the important footstones of western culture,has profound impact on the political,economical,cultural,artistic and other walks of the western life.In the waves of globalization,the cross-cultural-communication actuality requires English majors to be armed with not only professional skills but also humanistic qualities.At the present time,lack of profundity and imbalance are the shortcomings of Bible culture teaching in English major education.The author discussed the position of Bible culture education for junior and senior English majors and proposed that Bible should be one of the courses for junior and senior English majors.
