Discussion on the Application of the Urban Image Theory in the Tourism Development of Minority Small Towns

少数民族小城镇旅游发展迅速,但在旅游开发的过程中仍存在着诸多的问题,如何对少数民族小城镇的旅游开发进行创新性的探讨是研究的目的。从意象及城市意象理论的介绍入手,在分析我国少数民族小城镇旅游开发的现状及存在问题的基础上,对其城市意象要素构成、内容及意象功能等进行了详细的论述,探讨了城市意象理论在少数民族小城镇旅游开发中的应用。

The minority small towns develop rapidly,however there are still many problems in the process of tourism development.The purpose of this study is how to find an innovative way to develop tourism in minority small towns.Starting with introducing the image and the urban image,based on analyzing the present situation and existing problems of tourism development in minority small towns of China,the element composition,content and functions of urban image were discussed in detail.The application of urban image theory in the tourism development in minority small town was discussed.
