Application of MER in Digital CATV Network Test

调制误差比MER(Modulation Error Ratio)是体现数字电视网络质量重要综合指标之一,它包含各种噪声、载波泄漏、IQ幅度不平衡、IQ相位误差、相位噪声等所有类型的信号损伤。通过对数字电视网络的实际测试,找出数字电视网络中的问题所在,总结出提高网络质量的方法。

MER is one of the important integrate parameters of digital CATV network measurement . It includes noise, leakage of carrier wave, unbalance of IQ amplitude, IQ phase error, phase noise and so on. Through the real digital CATV network test, this paper points put the problems of DTV network, and summarizes the measurements of improving digital CATV network.
