The American' cost - schedule control system norms' which widely used in large - scale engineering pro- ject were introduced, including establishment of an unified work resolution structure between owner and contractor, determining reference for accomplishment of cost and schedule, management of subcontracting, purchasing and intermediate expenses, evaluation analysis of gaining value, project tracking report system and the main tables, examination and authorization of contractor seniority etc.. The application of the main methods for evaluation on gaining value were described in detail with practical example.
