摘要
潘懋元教授是我国高等教育学科的主要创始人,推动并见证了我国高等教育研究从"领域"走向"学科"的世纪转型。奥斯陆大学Arild Tjeldvoll教授从一位外国高教专家的视角,论述了潘懋元教授从一位教育研究爱好者成长为一位肩负社会责任的中国高等教育学家的历程,其最终成果《Pan Maoyuan:A Founding Father of Chinese Higher Education Research》和《潘懋元——一位中国高等教育学科的创始人》业已出版。《潘懋元传》既是了解中国高等教育学发展及其活动家奋斗的波澜壮阔历程的思想精华,也是体验西方高等教育理论工作者独特研究范式的学术典范。
As a main founding father of the discipline of Chinese higher education, Professor Pan Maoyuan has promoted and witnessed the century turn of Chinese higher education research from "field" to " discipline". Professor Arild Tjeldvoll of Universitas 0sloensis, from the perspective of an foreign expert on higher education, has expounded Pan Maoyuan~ development from an amateur to an educationalist on higher education with great sense of social responsibility, and published 《Pan Maoyuan: A Founding Father of Chinese Higher Education Research》 as his final result. The book is not only the ideological essence for understanding the great process of Higher Pedagogy development and its activists in China, but also an academic example of experiencing the special research paradigm of western researchers on higher education.
