通识教育理念下的高校科学史教育研究

On the Education of History of Science from the Perspective of General Education

国内高校在提倡和发展通识教育过程中需要处理好三个方面:一是要树立起培养"自由全面发展的人"这一最根本的通识教育理念,这与我们常说的素质教育的目标内在一致;二是通识教育要体现人文精神和科学精神的融合;三是通识教育要与专业教育有机结合。结合以上三个方面,从高校的课程设置角度考虑,在高校开设不同层次科学史课程是较好地体现通识教育理念的一个有效途径。

Three aspects have to be considered in promoting and developing general education in colleges and universities of China. The first one is that the general education concept of all - around development should be established, which is internally in accordance with the objective of quality education. The second is that the integration of cultural spirit and scientific spirit should he embodied in general education. The third is that gen- eral education and professional education should be well combined. Offering courses of history of science of different degrees in colleges and universities is an effective way to embody the general education concept.
