小城镇是城市文明辐射农村的枢纽,是构筑新型城乡关系的现实载体,因而在城乡一体化建设中处于枢纽地位,发挥着关键作用。在小城镇建设中,必须坚持科学发展、交通优先发展和依托自身特色发展等原则性思路。

As the hub for urban radiation of civilization to countryside and practical media in constructing newstyle urban-rural relation, small towns occupy the pivot status playing an important role. We should keep some principled ideas including scientific development, preferential development of transition and development relying on its feature.
