“多抽前绪”与“师心独见”——以刘勰《文心雕龙·论说》为例

Borrowing Old Ideas and Original Writings: Taking "Dragon-Carving and the Literary Mind" as an Example

刘勰在《文心雕龙.论说》中否定"多抽前绪"的同时,又完全赞同"师心独见"的创新。其实,"多抽前绪"与"师心独见"应是相辅相成、辩证统一的。只有把二者紧密结合起来,借鉴前贤,立足现实,"运用脑髓",才能产生不朽之作。

According to ＂The Treatise and the Speech＂ in ＂Dragon-Carving and the Literary Mind＂,Liu Xie argues against writers＇ borrowing old ideas when putting forward new arguments.Instead he completely approves of original writings.But in fact the two points are not isolated from each other but dialectically united and complementary to each other.As the result of investigating both the phenomenal and the metaphysical and tackling subtle problems and penetrating mysterious depths,all outstanding literary works are based on comprehensive and adequate collecting of related materials where old ideas are.
