建国十七年诗歌意象从符合政治需要、时代激情与生活想象出发,与表现对象之间的关系比较直接,意象的选择普遍用于抒发爱国主义和政治主题,崇拜英雄、追求光明,是一个时代的产物。

The poems created during the first 17 years after the founding of the People＇s Republic have a relatively direct relation with their represented objects,due to the need of political coherence,the passion of times and the living imagination.The selection of images was generally for the purposes of expression of patriotism and political themes,the worship of heroes,pursuing of light,etc.They are the creation of that particular time.
