This paper introduces in detail the Workflow and Workflow Management System and the concept of development present situation, The requirement and characteristics of WEB-based Workflow Management System are analyzed before its key technologies are discussed. Including model design, functional design, the workflow technology in OA products BPR and CSCW were studied, and then with a ease for workflow system in the actual business applications.
