摘要
《即将成人》是美国非裔作家理查德.赖特的一部知名短篇小说。作家对黑人英语方言的运用,是这部短篇的一个重要写作特色。在社会语言学背景下,作为写作策略的黑人英语方言在该短篇中有三种功能,即身份确认﹑差异呈现和矛盾呈现。配合着感人至深的故事情节,赖特成功地运用黑人英语方言作为其写作策略,使得读者能够流连于故事之内﹑冥思于故事之外。
Under the sociolinguistic backgroud,3 functions of Black English Dialect in this short story are indentity verification,difference and contradiction presentation,with the successful application of Black English dialect as writing strategy to make readers linger over reading the story and think deeply after reading in its movingplots.
