Nanyang Polytechnic Institute in Singapore is a well-known,innovative and comprehensive higher vocational college for provi-ding students with quality education and training.The college has some unique experiences in human resource development,such as teaching factory,recruitment of teachers according to actual needs;no community-based organizations,advocating human resources development;no shelf life,constructing a people-centered life-long learning system,career without bounda-ries,creating flexible training programs;professionalism and development,stressing the "six beyond" the training princi-ples,and etc,which provides us some inspiration in developing our higher vocational education.
