Internet is an invisible link to connect the world＇s Internet users.It is also a huge information library constructed by all Internet users.Search engine is a golden key to explore this huge information library.This paper discusses several applications of search engine in translation practice,such as assisting the translators to translate special words and texts,and it also discusses the application of search engine in translation studies,that is to assist to compile the bibliography.
