Contrastive Analysis of Overall Structure in Celebrity TV Talk Shows between Chinese and American

运用会话结构理论,对中央电视台《艺术人生》节目和美国著名访谈节目《大卫深夜秀》从开端、本体和结尾进行整体结构方面的语料分析。通过中美名人电视访谈节目中呈现的不同特点,对中美思想文化差异进行了深入剖析,对受众更好地从跨文化角度理解名人电视访谈产生一定指导意义。

In this thesis,Life of Arts on CCTV and the renowned American programme The David Letterman Show are analyzed based on data collection from the perspective of ovall structure including opening,main body and closing through applying the theory of conversational structure.Differences in thinking pattern and culture between Chinese and American are shed light on according to the distinctive characteristics of these two types of talk show programmes.The research aims at providing guidance for audience on better understanding cross-cultural celebrity TV talk shows.
