高校教师的首要职责是教书育人,教育学生怎样做人,怎样思考,怎样去掌握现代科学文化知识。在培养目标上要立足于成"人"教育和素质教育,高等教育的首要任务和最根本的目的是把大学生教育成"人",使学生懂得人为什么活着,活着为了什么?也就是要加强思想道德教育,加强人生观、世界观、价值观教育,加强学生的全面素质教育,把学生培养成有理智、有理念、有理想的人,有社会责任感和事业心的人,有科学文化知识和创造能力的人,有志、有为、德才兼备的人。

The chief responsibility of university teachers is to teach and educate students,teach students how to behave and consider and how to seize science knowledge.They should be established in education of becoming human and education for all-around development.The chief assignment and prime aim of higher education is to teach undergraduate how to do,to enhance personal moral character and education for all-around development,to bring up the society responsibility and enterprise.These are chief and necessitous mission of high school.
