摘要
虚拟街道的自动生成是虚拟城市建模的重要组成部分,文章通过拓展L系统理论,采用高程映射和河流自动识别的方法,提出了复杂地形条件下城市街道的自动生成方法。实验表明,文中方法能够在具有高程起伏、河流等约束条件的复杂地形上自动生成与周围地形(环境)统一的、样式多变的街道,为虚拟城市自动建模提供更丰富的街道、道路生成手段。
Automatic generation of the virtual street is an important part of virtual city modeling.Based on L-system principles,this paper presents an automatic generation method of virtual city streets under complex terrain constraints by using height mapping and automatic river identification.Experimental results show that under complex terrain constraints,such as undulating terrain and rivers,the presented method can automatically generate various streets in accordance with the surrounding terrain and environment.This study provides a way to generate streets for automatic virtual city modeling.
