人类朊蛋白疾病

摘要 朊蛋白(prion protein,PrP)是一种能在动物和人类中引起多种中枢神经系统变性疾病的传染性蛋白颗粒,疾病型PrP是PrPC的同质异构体,称为PrPSC,这是真正意义的致病物质,也称为朊病毒.因其主要侵犯大脑,中枢神经退化为主要特征,是一种慢性、传染性、强致死性.诊断困难,迄今为止,未找到治疗方法,没开发出相关疫苗,危害极大.不发病无法实施,一旦发病为时已晚.所以人类朊蛋白疾病很可能是21世纪医学界最棘手的问题.
