摘要
从古籍保护的角度来看,古籍函套由于与古籍直接接触,因此起着尤为重要的作用。在对待古籍原有旧函套时应该充分认识到:古籍原有函套是古籍不可分割的一部分,带有十分丰富的古籍本身信息及其藏书人的重要信息,不可轻易抛弃;在为古籍定制、加装新的函套时,应该特别注意使用的硬纸板及粘合剂等原材料的安全性,并且应该在外观等相关工艺上达到一定标准。
Protective covering plays a very important role in preserving ancient books for its direct attachment to them. As an inseparable part of ancient books, old protective coverings which contain abundant information about the book-collectors as well as the books, can not be discarded casually. When customizing new coverings, special attention should be given to the safety standard of raw materials, such as hardboard and binder, so as to meet a certain standard of covering craft.
