对东风４Ｂ型客比机车高速运行时产生剧烈晃动的成因进行了分析，指出引起晃动的主要因素是旁承摩擦板粗糙度及轴箱拉杆橡胶圈的弹性，并据此对机车进行整治，取得良好效果。

The reasons why DF\-\{4B\} passenger locomotives swing dramatically at higher speed were analyzed.The main factors resulting in swing side bearing friction plate roughness and axlebox rod rubber ring elasticity,were pointed out.The locomotives were modified in terms of the two aspects with good results.\;
