Elegies are found in both Chinese and English literature history. "Jiang Cheng" Zi by Su Shi and "On his Deceased Wife" by Milton have the same theme —in dream meeting wife who had died.However,their differences are as outstanding which is a clue to help uncover the writing methods and cultural distinctions.
