Parenting styles include four main styles: Authoritarian, Authoritative, Indulgent and Neglectful. Different styles present themselves with different practices which include warmth, acceptance, involvement, strictness and control. The joint and balance of parental practices can construct the most favorable parenting style. They have great influence on children 's and adolescents'all-round development, including academic achievement. According to a multitude of researches, Authoritative parenting style has the highest score of four styles.
