当前,网络文学是学界的热门话题。网络文学与传统文学常被作为一对相对的概念进行比较,得出此劣彼优的结论。其实,网络只是文学的一种工具性革命,而并非文学本身,因此网络文学与传统文学并非对应的概念,更非对立的关系。文学的弊病不应当归罪于网络。网络文学的发展已经成为不可逆转之势,它虽然是互联网时代的副产品,却也适应了广大网民的需求。随着时间推移,作者与读者双方面都会逐渐成熟,网络文学的进步可以期待。

Internet literature has become a hot topic nowadays. Internet literature and traditional literature are compared, leading to the conclusion that the former is inferior to the latter. Internet is a means by which literature is spread. The relationship between internet literature and traditional literature is not opposite and even less contradictory. The defects thus obtained can not be attributed to the internet. Internet literature develops of its own accord. As a byproduct of internet era, it meets the needs of internet users. Eventually, readers and the author will end up mature and the progress of the internet literature can well be expected.
