论西部地区自然科学地方文献资源研究的意义与内容

On the Significance and Content of Research About Regional Literature Resources of Natural Science in the Western Area of Our Country

地方文献资源是西部大开发中实现区域振兴赖以凭借的最具活力和最具潜力的信息支柱之一。西部地区的自然科学地方文献是西部地区自然知识和自然科学技术研究成果的主要载体,是地区文化战略资源的重要组成部分,但长期以来一直没有得到应有的重视。针对目前西部地区乃至我国自然科学地方文献资源研究和自然科学地方文献工作薄弱的状况,论述开展自然科学地方文献资源研究的理论意义与实践意义,并对研究的总体目标和主要内容进行探讨。

The local literature resource is one of the most vigor and potential information supports to realize the regional revival in the western area development. The local literature resource of natural science in the western area is the main carrier of study results of natural knowledge and natural technology and is the important component of regional cultural strategy resource. But they have not been paid much attention to for a long time. The paper states the theoretical and practical significance of developing the research of local lit- erature resource of natural science, and discusses the general goals and the primary content of the research in view of the weak condition of the study and work on local literature resource of natural science in the western area of our country.
