Translational Medicine——A Bridge between Medical Basic Research and Clinical Medicine

当前医学发展进程中,医学基础研究进展迅速,而临床医学则相对滞后。究其原因,大量基础研究成果不能及时有效地用于临床,使二者间产生了巨大的鸿沟。转化医学搭建了沟通二者的桥梁,为促进医学基础研究向临床的应用,同时为针对临床需要提出基础研究方向提供了有效途径。

In the current process of medical development, medical basic research developed rapidly. However, the progression of clinical medicine is lagging behind relatively. The possible reason is that a lot of results in basic research can not be timely and effectively applied in clinical medicine, so that a huge gap was formed between them. Translational medicine built a bridge of communication between medical basic research and clinical medicine. Also, it provides an effective way to convert basic research results into clinical practice and to point out the basic research direction according to the demands of clinical medicine.
