在公路设计和勘测过程中，常需确定某一点与线路的关系。本文首先讨论路线在测量坐标系中的数学模型，然后给出了路线上与给定点距离最短的点应满足的条件以及此点桩号和最短距离的计算方法。此法理论严密，编程方便。

During highway design and surveying,the relation of one point to the route needs to be determined. This paper first discusses the mathematical model of the route in the coordinate system of survey,then presents the conditions for the point on the route should meet,to make the distance from the given point being the shortest,finally gives the method of calculating the stake location and the shortest distance,this method is relatively perfect in the theory and simple in programming
