Expression of Tbx3 gene in breast cancer tissues and its clinical significance

摘要 目的 研究Tbx3基因在乳腺癌组织中的表达情况和在具有不同临床病理特征的乳腺癌中的表达差异.方法 应用免疫组化技术检测53例乳腺癌患者肿块标本和28例正常乳腺组织中Tbx3基因的表达情况.同时测定不同雌激素受体(ER)状态、淋巴结转移、Her-2受体状态的乳腺癌组织中的Tbx3基因表达情况.结果 在乳腺癌组织中Tbx3基因的阳性率为73.58%(39/53),明显高于正常乳腺组织中的阳性率4.29%(4/28)(P<0.05).ER阳性乳腺癌组织中Tbx3基因的阳性率为84.38%(27/32),明显高于ER阴性的阳性率57.14%(12/21)(P<0.05).有淋巴结转移乳腺癌组织中Tbx3基因的阳性率为86.21%(25/29),明显高于无淋巴结转移的阳性率58.33%(14/24)(P<0.05).Her-2阳性乳腺癌组织中Tbx3基因的阳性率为93.75%(15/16),明显高于Her-2阴性的阳性率64.86%(24/37)(P<0.05).结论 乳腺癌组织中出现Tbx3基因过度表达,且与患者的ER状态、淋巴结转移情况、Her-2受体状态相关. Objective To clarify the expression of Tbx3 gene in breast cancer tissues and its clinical significance, and the expression of Tbx3 gene in different clinical pathological characteristic breast cancer. Methods Expression of Tbx3 gene in 53 specimens of breast cancer and 28 specimens of normal breast tissues were investigated by immunohistochemistry, analysing the clinical significance. Meanwhile the correlation of expression of Tbx3 gene in breast cancer classified was investigated by estrogen receptor ( ER),lymph node metastasis, Her-2 status. Results Positive rate of Tbx3 gene in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissues [73.58% (39/53) vs 14.29% (4/28)] (P 〈 0.05).Positive rate of Tbx3 gene in ER positive breast cancer tissues was higher than that in ER negative breast cancer tissues [ 84.38% (27/32) vs 57.14% ( 12/21 ) ] (P 〈 0.05 ). Positive rate of Tbx3 gene in breast cancer tissues with lymph node metastasis was higher than that in breast cancer tissues without lymph node metastasis [86.21%(25/29) vs 58.33% (14/24) ] (P 〈 0.05). Positive rate of Tbx3 gene in Her-2 positive breast cancer tissues was higher than that in Her-2 negative breast cancer tissues[ 93.75%(15/16) vs 64.86% (24/37) ] (P 〈 0.05). Conclusions Tbx3 gene is over expressed in breast cancer tissues. It is related to ER, lymph node metastasis, Her-2 status.
