This paper makes investigation on the advantages,disadvantages,production status,quality level,current application and existing technical problems of glass magnesium composite duct,analyzes the superiorities of glass magnesium composite duct comparing with other types of air ducts,sums up the requirements on the production and installation of glass magnesium composite duct,and connecting with some actual examples,illustrates the necessity of the application and promotion of glass magnesium composite duct in smoke control system.
